I've been trying to find one of these online. I found a link with some information on some vintage ones but I was hoping to find a vintage one that I could purchase myself. I have a couple of modern books at the house that I page through sometimes. These mostly contain very beginner information. I'm looking for something to help me work up to an intermediate level. Any suggestions are appreciated.

What about the Bishop Method of Clothing Construction? http://www.amazon.com/Bishop-Method-Clothing-Construction-Bryte/dp/0397401302
Have you used WorldCat? Here is my search for the book on WorldCat, it's a search engine that will locate a book in nearly any library. I don't know where you are in the south, I used Knoxville, Tennessee as the search locater. http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/853023&tab=holdings&loc=37916&start_holding=1#tabs
It's mostly available in college libraries, but you should be able to get a copy on inter-library loan to look it over. It's cheap, though, and you wouldn't go wrong to buy it sight unseen.
